Big Data Mining (BDM) is the process of analyzing large amounts of data to extract useful information and patterns. BDM uses data mining techniques on big data sets to find relevant information and hidden value.

Big data is a term used to describe data sets that are too large to analyze without the help of computers. Big data is characterized by its volume, velocity, and variety, which is sometimes referred to as the "three Vs".

Businesses use big data and data mining to gain insights into their operations, finances, and consumers. They can use this information to make better decisions and improve their bottom line. For example, tech companies like Meta (formerly Facebook) and Alphabet (formerly Google) use big data to deliver targeted ads to users on social media and websites.
